This is such a great vintage deadstock Oscar de la Renta dress in a brown and white check wool with a v-neck and pearl buttons down the center front. We especially love the fun pleated hem! There are two functional slit pockets and a single breast slit pocket that are all secured by metal snap buttons. The cuffs of the sleeves have the same pearl buttons and the hem of the skirt has pretty knife pleats all the way around.
Made in USA and feels like 100% Wool with Rayon lining. This dress was never worn and still has its original Saks Fifth Avenue $1190 price tag attached. Sold in the late 1980s or early 1990's, so that would be the equivalent of approximately $2200 today!
Labeled a US size 12, and we estimate this would best fit a modern 12 as well.
